The Elmbrook Transition Resources website has been updated to include learning opportunities and community events. Please review the home page for detailed information on the March Resource Fair, Project SEARCH information sessions, and expert-led webinars about healthcare and financial planning. There are three upcoming events I would like to highlight:
1) If you have a student with complex medical needs, there is a virtual workshop on January 21 to educate families about navigating from pediatric to adult health care.
2) Project SEARCH is holding an information night where all four sites will be represented. This is appropriate for potential interns and their families who are in grades 9-12. It's never too early to start learning what the options are for after school.
3) Save the date: Waukesha County Transition Night is March 11 at WCTC.
